The Burning Eye has a ‘SoftDeath’ feature for characters below a certain level.
This level is usually 10, but can be checked via the ‘settings’ command. If you are at or below this level, you will be reincarnated WITH your equipment and will not be forced to recover your corpse.
Once you have passed the ‘SoftDeath’ level limit you will be subject to the same rules about death that everyone else is.
